These Terms & Conditions apply to teacher training courses organised by Easis Bridge, Lda., Porto, Portugal, including course participation and any optional mobility, logistics or cultural services contracted through Easis Bridge.
These Terms & Conditions should be read together with the information provided on the relevant course page, the applicable quotation and the individual Service Contract.
By signing a Service Contract, the participant, sending organisation or other contracting entity acknowledges that it has read and accepted the applicable Terms & Conditions.
1. COURSE PROVIDER
Easis Bridge, Lda. is an independent education and mobility services provider based in Porto, Portugal.
Easis Bridge provides professional development courses designed for education professionals and suitable for participation within the context of Erasmus+ staff mobility, where applicable.
Easis Bridge is an independent course provider and does not represent the European Commission, the Erasmus+ Programme or any Erasmus+ National Agency.
Participation in an Easis Bridge course does not in itself guarantee Erasmus+ funding.
2. COURSE INFORMATION
Before registration, participants have access to relevant information about each course, including:

Participants and sending organisations are responsible for reviewing the course information before confirming their booking.
Easis Bridge is committed to providing accurate and transparent information about its courses and services.
3. REGISTRATION, SERVICE CONTRACT & BOOKING CONFIRMATION
Submitting a registration request or requesting information about an Easis Bridge course does not constitute a confirmed booking and does not create any payment obligation.
Once availability, course dates, selected services and applicable prices have been agreed, Easis Bridge will issue a Service Contract between Easis Bridge and the participant, sending organisation or other contracting entity.
The Service Contract will specify the relevant conditions of the mobility, including the course or programme, dates, number of participants, services contracted, total price, payment conditions, cancellation conditions and any specific arrangements agreed between the parties.
The Service Contract must be signed by both parties.
The booking and mobility are considered formally confirmed once:
- the Service Contract has been duly signed by both parties; and
- the payment due upon signature, as specified in the Service Contract, has been received by Easis Bridge.The conditions established in the individual Service Contract prevail in relation to any specific arrangements expressly agreed for that booking.
4. COURSE CONFIRMATION
Courses are confirmed once the applicable minimum participation requirements and the necessary international composition have been reached.
Unless otherwise stated on the individual course page:
Minimum group size: 10 participants
Maximum group size: 20 participantsIf a course has not been confirmed earlier, Easis Bridge will communicate the final decision no later than four weeks before the course starting date.
Confirmation that a course will take place does not, by itself, constitute confirmation of an individual participant's or organisation's booking.
An individual booking is formally confirmed only after the corresponding Service Contract has been signed by both parties and the payment due upon signature has been received by Easis Bridge.
Participants and sending organisations are strongly advised not to book flights or make other non-refundable travel arrangements until both the course and their individual booking have been formally confirmed.
If a course cannot take place, Easis Bridge will, whenever possible, propose alternative available dates.
5. INTERNATIONAL & EUROPEAN DIMENSION
Easis Bridge courses are designed to encourage European and international exchange, intercultural learning, professional networking and the sharing of educational practices.
Where a course is organised within the context of Erasmus+ Courses and Training, groups will be organised with attention to the applicable transnational dimension and current Erasmus+ requirements.
Sending organisations remain responsible for confirming the eligibility of their participants and ensuring that their participation complies with the conditions of their Erasmus+ project, accreditation, grant agreement and applicable Programme rules.
6. COURSE FEES & TRANSPARENT PRICING
The applicable course price and any additional services selected will be communicated clearly before the booking is confirmed.
Participants and sending organisations will receive a quotation identifying the services and applicable total price.
Optional mobility services may include, depending on the package selected:
Accommodation · Airport Transfers · Local Public Transport · Mobility Management & Support · Cultural Activities · Other Mobility Services
Optional services will be clearly identified.
Unless expressly stated otherwise for a specific programme, participants are not required to purchase accommodation, transport or cultural services from Easis Bridge in order to participate in a course.
Services not expressly included in the quotation or Service Contract should not be considered part of the booking.
7. FINANCIAL TERMS & PAYMENT
The total price of the contracted services will be clearly stated in the quotation and confirmed in the corresponding Service Contract.
The Service Contract will specify, as applicable:
Total Contract Price · Services Included · Optional Services Contracted · Applicable Taxes · Payment Amount(s) · Payment Schedule · Payment Deadline(s)
The payment due upon confirmation must be made at the time the Service Contract is signed.
Depending on the services contracted, the Service Contract may require full payment upon signature or establish another payment schedule expressly agreed between the parties.
The booking will not be considered formally confirmed until the Service Contract has been signed by both parties and the payment due upon signature has been received by Easis Bridge.
Any subsequent payment deadlines will be clearly stated in the Service Contract and/or corresponding invoice.
Failure to comply with an agreed payment deadline may constitute a breach of the Service Contract and may result in cancellation of the contracted services in accordance with the applicable contractual conditions.
Any bank charges or transfer costs are the responsibility of the payer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
8. CONTRACTED SERVICES & THIRD-PARTY PROVIDERS
The services included in each booking are those expressly identified in the applicable quotation and Service Contract.
Depending on the selected package, contracted services may include:
Teacher Training Course · Training Materials · Accommodation · Airport Transfers · Local Transport · Cultural Activities · Mobility Management & Support · Administrative Support · Documentation · Other Specifically Agreed Services
Easis Bridge may subcontract or use independent third-party suppliers and service providers for the delivery of certain services, including accommodation, transport, cultural activities and other mobility-related services.
Easis Bridge will coordinate the services expressly contracted through it, subject to the conditions of the applicable Service Contract and, where relevant, the operational conditions of third-party providers.
Material third-party conditions affecting a booking will be communicated where applicable.
9. CANCELLATION BY THE PARTICIPANT OR SENDING ORGANISATION
Any cancellation of a confirmed booking must be communicated to Easis Bridge in writing.
The cancellation and refund conditions applicable to each booking will be clearly communicated before confirmation and will form part of the applicable Service Contract.
Cancellation charges may take into account:
- the date on which cancellation is communicated;
- services already provided;
- non-refundable bookings already made;
- financial commitments already assumed by Easis Bridge;
- and third-party services contracted on behalf of the participant or sending organisation.
Where possible, Easis Bridge may accept the replacement of a participant by another eligible participant from the same sending organisation, subject to prior approval, availability and any applicable administrative or supplier conditions.The specific cancellation conditions accepted in the Service Contract will apply to the individual booking.
10. CANCELLATION BY EASIS BRIDGE
If Easis Bridge is unable to deliver a confirmed course or contracted service for reasons attributable to Easis Bridge, affected participants or sending organisations will be informed as soon as reasonably possible.
Depending on the circumstances, Easis Bridge may offer:
- an alternative course date;
- an equivalent alternative service, where appropriate;
- credit towards a future Easis Bridge course or mobility, where accepted by the contracting party;
or
-reimbursement of amounts paid for services that Easis Bridge is unable to provide.Where the cancellation results from force majeure or extraordinary circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Easis Bridge, the provisions of Section 17 of these Terms & Conditions will apply.
Easis Bridge is not responsible for independently booked flights, accommodation or other travel arrangements, subject to applicable law.
11. CHANGES TO A CONFIRMED COURSE OR SERVICE
Easis Bridge may make reasonable minor changes to the timetable, venue, trainer, learning activities, cultural activities or other operational elements where necessary for organisational, pedagogical or practical reasons, provided that the overall nature, quality and principal learning objectives of the course are maintained.
Participants will be informed of relevant changes as early as reasonably possible.
If Easis Bridge makes a significant change to the course fee, principal content, dates, location or schedule that materially affects the participant's booking, the affected participant or contracting organisation will be entitled to cancel the affected service without an additional cancellation charge.
Where appropriate, Easis Bridge may first propose a suitable alternative arrangement.
12. TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS
Unless expressly included in the applicable quotation and Service Contract, international travel to and from Portugal is not included.
Participants are responsible for organising their journey and ensuring that they hold the necessary travel documents for their circumstances.
Participants should not purchase non-refundable travel services before receiving confirmation that the course will take place and that their individual booking has been formally confirmed.
13. ACCOMMODATION, TRANSPORT & OPTIONAL MOBILITY SERVICES
Accommodation, airport transfers, local transport, cultural activities and other mobility services are optional unless expressly included in the selected package and Service Contract.
The exact services included will be specified in the applicable quotation and Service Contract.
Where Easis Bridge arranges accommodation, transport or another service through an external provider, participants must comply with the reasonable rules and conditions applicable to that service.
If a material problem arises with a service contracted through Easis Bridge, participants should inform Easis Bridge as soon as possible so that reasonable assistance and, where appropriate, an alternative solution can be considered.
14. PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITY, DAMAGES & INSURANCE
Participants are responsible for their conduct and for respecting the rules applicable to course venues, accommodation, transport services, cultural venues and other facilities used during the mobility.
Participants and/or their sending organisation may be held responsible for damage caused intentionally or through negligence to accommodation, equipment, venues or third-party property, subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the incident.
Sending organisations and participants are responsible for ensuring that appropriate insurance coverage is in place for the mobility period, including, where applicable:
Health Coverage · Accident Insurance · Travel Insurance · Personal Liability Insurance · Cancellation Insurance
Participants and sending organisations are responsible for checking that their insurance coverage is appropriate for the mobility and activities undertaken.
Easis Bridge must be informed as soon as reasonably possible of any serious incident occurring in connection with services organised by Easis Bridge and will provide reasonable assistance in managing the situation.
15. ATTENDANCE & PARTICIPATION
Participants are expected to attend and actively participate in the full learning programme.
Easis Bridge courses are based on active learning and may include:
Workshops · Practical Exercises · Collaborative Activities · Project Work · Peer Learning · Reflection · Exchange of Educational Practices
Participants are expected to comply with reasonable course instructions and contribute to a respectful and constructive learning environment.
Successful completion of the applicable learning programme is required for the issuance of the final course certificate.
16. PARTICIPANT CONDUCT
Participants are expected to behave professionally and respectfully towards trainers, other participants, Easis Bridge staff, partner organisations, service providers and members of the local community.
Discrimination, harassment, threatening behaviour, serious disruption of learning activities, deliberate damage or conduct that puts the safety or well-being of others at risk will not be accepted.
In serious circumstances, Easis Bridge reserves the right to take proportionate action, which may include excluding a participant from an activity or, where justified, from the remainder of the course.
Any financial consequences resulting directly from serious participant misconduct will be assessed in accordance with the applicable circumstances, Service Contract and law.
17. FORCE MAJEURE & EXTRAORDINARY CIRCUMSTANCES
Neither party shall be held responsible for failure to fulfil its contractual obligations where such failure results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include, without limitation:
Natural Disasters · Severe Weather · War or Civil Unrest · Epidemics or Pandemics · Government Restrictions · Major Transport Disruption · Strikes · Security Emergencies · Other Extraordinary and Unforeseeable Events
In such circumstances, both parties will cooperate in good faith to identify a reasonable solution.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include:
Rescheduling · Alternative Arrangements · Credit Towards a Future Mobility · Reimbursement of Recoverable Amounts
Any financial solution may take into account non-refundable costs or commitments already incurred with third-party suppliers.
Each situation will be assessed individually in accordance with the circumstances, applicable law and the relevant Service Contract.
18. INCLUSION & ACCESSIBILITY
Easis Bridge is committed to providing an inclusive, respectful and non-discriminatory learning environment.
Participants with disabilities, reduced mobility, accessibility requirements, special educational needs, dietary requirements or other specific support needs are encouraged to inform Easis Bridge as early as possible and preferably during the registration process.
Easis Bridge will discuss the relevant requirements with the participant or sending organisation and make reasonable efforts to facilitate participation.
Where a particular accessibility arrangement is essential for participation, it should be confirmed before the Service Contract is signed.
19. DOCUMENTATION & CERTIFICATION
Easis Bridge provides the relevant course programme and course documentation associated with the training activity.
Depending on the course and mobility, documentation may include:
Detailed Course Programme · Attendance Documentation · Learning Agreement Support, where applicable · Certificate · Europass Mobility Support, where applicable
Participants who successfully complete the required course programme will receive a certificate containing relevant information about their participation and learning.
Easis Bridge provides support with Europass Mobility documentation where applicable; this does not imply that Easis Bridge is the sole issuing or validating authority for such documentation.
20. ERASMUS+ FUNDING & ELIGIBILITY
Easis Bridge is an independent course provider.
Participation in an Easis Bridge course does not itself guarantee Erasmus+ funding or reimbursement.
The eligibility of a participant, mobility, course fee or related expenditure depends on the applicable Erasmus+ Programme rules, the sending organisation's project or accreditation, its grant agreement and, where relevant, guidance from its National Agency.
Sending organisations remain responsible for confirming:

Easis Bridge cannot guarantee that a particular expense or service will be reimbursed through Erasmus+.
Easis Bridge does not represent the European Commission or any Erasmus+ National Agency, and publication or delivery of a course does not constitute official endorsement or certification by the European Union.
21. COURSE EVALUATION & FEEDBACK
At the end of the programme, participants will have the opportunity to evaluate their course and organisational experience.
Feedback may cover areas such as:
Course Content · Learning Activities · Methodology · Organisation · Support · Learning Outcomes · Overall Participant Experience
Participant feedback is used by Easis Bridge to support the continuous improvement of its courses and mobility services.
22. COMPLAINTS
Participants or sending organisations who are dissatisfied with any aspect of the course or contracted services are encouraged to contact Easis Bridge as soon as possible so that the issue can be addressed.
Where possible, issues should be raised during the mobility to give Easis Bridge a reasonable opportunity to investigate and seek an appropriate solution.
Formal complaints should be submitted in writing.
Easis Bridge undertakes to review complaints in a timely, fair, constructive and professional manner.
23. FOLLOW-UP & LEARNING TRANSFER
Easis Bridge encourages participants to transfer the knowledge, skills and resources acquired during the course to their own professional and educational contexts.
Where appropriate, participants may be provided with course materials, digital resources, participant-created materials and other practical resources to support the application and dissemination of their learning.
Participants are encouraged to reflect on how the learning outcomes can be applied within their classroom, school or educational organisation and, where relevant, shared with colleagues and their sending organisation.
Course activities may also encourage continued professional exchange, networking and future cooperation between participants and participating organisations..
24. CONFIDENTIALITY
Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of non-public information received in connection with the booking and mobility, except where disclosure is reasonably necessary for the provision of contracted services or required by law.
This obligation applies to Easis Bridge and to the contracting participant or organisation.
25. PERSONAL DATA & PRIVACY
Personal data collected in connection with registration, contracting and course organisation will be processed for legitimate purposes related to:
Registration · Contract Administration · Communication · Course Organisation · Documentation · Certification · Mobility Services · Accounting and Legal Obligations
Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Where necessary for the provision of contracted services, relevant personal information may be shared with third-party service providers, such as accommodation providers, transport operators, trainers or activity providers, limited to what is reasonably necessary for that purpose.

26. PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO & IMAGE USE
Photographs or videos may be taken during certain course, cultural or mobility activities.
The use of identifiable images of participants by Easis Bridge for promotional, communication, website or social media purposes will be subject to appropriate information and consent procedures where required.
Participation in promotional photography or video is not a condition of participation in an Easis Bridge course.
Where consent is required, participants may choose whether to authorise the use of their image for promotional and communication purposes.
27. COMMUNICATION & CONTRACT AMENDMENTS
Official communications relating to bookings, contracts, payments, cancellations or material changes should be made in writing using the contact details provided by the parties.
Any material amendment to an individual Service Contract must be agreed in writing by the parties.
Where an amendment affects the services, price, dates or other relevant conditions of the mobility, Easis Bridge may issue an updated contractual document, addendum or written confirmation, as appropriate
28. APPLICABLE LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION
The parties undertake to seek an amicable resolution to any disagreement or dispute whenever reasonably possible.
Where an amicable solution cannot be reached, disputes will be submitted to the competent Portuguese courts, subject to any mandatory jurisdiction rules applicable under Portuguese or European Union law.
29. RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN COURSE INFORMATION, QUOTATION, TERMS & SERVICE CONTRACT
The individual course page, applicable quotation, these Terms & Conditions and the signed Service Contract together establish the conditions applicable to the booking.
In the event that a specific arrangement has been expressly agreed in the signed Service Contract for an individual booking, the specific contractual provision will apply to that booking, subject to applicable law.
This allows course-specific arrangements regarding participants, dates, services, prices, payment schedules and other agreed conditions to be established individually.
30. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS & CONDITIONS
Before entering into the Service Contract, the participant or contracting organisation will have access to the relevant course information, applicable quotation and these Terms & Conditions.
By signing the Service Contract, the contracting party acknowledges that it has read and accepted the applicable conditions.
The booking becomes formally confirmed once the Service Contract has been signed by both parties and the payment due upon signature has been received by Easis Bridge..
