Communicate. Connect. Go International.
ABOUT THE COURSE
English has become an essential communication tool for educators working in increasingly international and interconnected learning environments.
Whether participating in an Erasmus+ mobility, welcoming international visitors, attending a European meeting, presenting a school, developing a partnership or simply exchanging ideas with colleagues from another country, the ability to communicate confidently in English can open the door to new professional and institutional opportunities.
English for European Educators: Boosting Fluency & School Internationalisation is a practical professional development course designed to help teachers and education professionals use English more confidently and effectively in real educational and international contexts.
During this 6-day, 30-hour training programme in Porto, participants will strengthen their speaking, listening and professional communication skills while exploring situations commonly encountered in European educational cooperation.
The course combines language development with practical communication, intercultural exchange, networking and school internationalisation. Participants will practise introducing themselves professionally, presenting their school, participating in meetings, communicating with international partners, exchanging educational practices and developing ideas for future European cooperation.
Through practical activities, simulations, collaborative tasks, presentations and interaction with an international group, participants will be encouraged to use English actively rather than simply study the language.
The course also explores how stronger communication skills can support the international development of schools and encourage greater participation in European mobility, partnerships and educational cooperation.
